Yulu Xia

Yulu is Assistant Director and senior researcher with the NSF Center for Integrated Pest Management (CIPM), North Carolina State University. CIPM is a major funding and research entity in the field. His major responsibilities in the Center are 1.) managing Center’s international collaborative research projects, and 2.) designing, implementing, and managing software projects. Yulu’s expertise is agricultural informatics and pest management.

Yulu obtained his Ph.D. in entomology from Clemson University, and M.S. in Computer Networking from North Carolina State University.

Other than CAST-NC, Yulu is an active member of other local and national Chinese or Chinese-American organization. He is the past chair person of the Science and Technology Committee and current board member of. Chinese-American Friendship Association in the RTP (CAFA).
